“Self Awareness of thoughts, actions and purpose”

about me

I am deeply drawn to systems — how ideas become structures, how structures create stability, and how thoughtful design can shape real lives. I like to build things: music, projects, frameworks, and environments where complexity is made understandable and intention becomes tangible. This space is a record of what I create, how I think through problems, and the systems I design to bring order, meaning, and continuity into the world.

If the fish Knew
אם הדג היה יודע

If the Fish Knew began as a playful question and became a serious exploration. Written during my time at Walden, this piece grew out of curiosity; about sound, scale, and tradition. The deliberately silly title contrasts with a thoughtful compositional process: experimenting with klezmer modes, ornamentation, and rhythmic character while learning how melodic identity shifts across tonal systems. The music dances between humor and reflection, embracing the expressive flexibility of klezmer while allowing room for experimentation and discovery. Much like its name, the piece does not take itself too seriously; yet it captures the joy of learning, listening, and letting music surprise you.

El Tiempo

Se Me Va (It Slips Away From Me) is a meditation on time: how fleeting it is, and how impossible it can feel to hold onto it. Inspired by the emotional weight of boleros and the intensity of flamenco, the piece blends longing, urgency, and restraint.Melodic lines stretch and dissolve, echoing the way moments pass before we realize their value. Rhythmic tension and lyrical phrasing mirror the push and pull between desire and acceptance. Se Me Va is not about loss alone, but about awareness—recognizing time as it moves, even when we cannot stop it.

Projects Portfolio

Englewood Pathways Network

Englewood Pathways Network is my independent research initiative applying systems design to a social problem: the invisible bureaucracy that keeps first-generation and ESL students from understanding — and pursuing — their post-secondary options. Built as a Notion-based hub with structured OKRs, it turns abstract resources into a clear, navigable map: academic pathways, financial aid, work literacy, and community support, all in one place. The goal isn't to replace counselor or other nodes of help, but to give students the "rules of the game" so they can move with confidence and understand the playing field. I am planning on deploying this project over the next fall with the help of counselors and teachers in Englewood Public School District.

NHS Dashboard

As Co-President of our NHS chapter, I focused on building the operational backbone the club lacked — a Notion system for attendance, meeting notes, and Kanban-based project tracking across the executive board. I later stripped it down into a clean, reusable template so other chapters could adopt the same structure without inheriting our specific data.

DECA Dashboard

My work with DECA centers on strengthening competitive readiness — building the systems (role-play simulation prep, test-prep tracking, funding and documentation databases) that help members reach SCDC eligibility and compete at regional, state, and national levels. It's the same instinct that drives my other projects: take something that depends on informal knowledge and turn it into a repeatable process. I am working on this project with the DECA Advisor of DMAE: Honter Somers, to have this deployed and ready to go in September.

Merchan Enterprises

Merchan Enterprises is my long-term, 20-year vision for a holding company built around ownership of arbitrage and systems of disciplined capital allocation, compounding over time. Rather than pursuing a single venture, the goal is to develop and acquire durable businesses such as Assets management, Service-based, Digital Intellectual Property and Supply chain optimization through Vertical Brand Integration.

Writings

I am Maxjaneth's Son

Tracing my journey from the silence of a foreign tongue to a life of leadership and purpose in the United States. This narrative documents my transition from exile to empowerment, proving that through resilience and faith, even the greatest chaos can forge a future of light.

The Price of Comfort: Why humanity trades Freedom for control.

This essay examines the persistent human tendency to trade individual autonomy for the comforts of security and convenience. By analyzing a lineage of thought from Homer’s Odyssey to John Locke, it illustrates how freedom is often lost through a subtle drift into complacency rather than by sudden force. Ultimately, the text offers a critique of our modern algorithmic age, warning that a reliance on automated ease threatens to outsource the very capacity for independent thought that makes us human.
